PYRADAPT 2017 CAST35 experts from five nationalities will analyze the impacts of climate change on mountain areas along 22 oral communications and one round table during the 2nd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas, PYRADAPT 2017, organized by the OPCC, on the 7th and 8th November 2017 in Biarritz, France.

How changed the climate of the Pyrenees in recent decades? How are those changes affecting forests, pastures, flora and lakes? And tourism and other socio-economic sectors? The Colloquium will try to find answers to these questions. Climate, mountain hydrology or citizen science are some of the topics that will be addressed on November 8 during this event, while on November 7, as a preamble of the colloquium, there will be a cinemaforum with a climate change documentary projection followed by an open debate session.

The Colloquium has already more than 90 registered participants; people interested in attending the colloquium can formalize inscriptions and download the full programme on the PYRADAPT 2017 website: https://pyradapt.wordpress.com/english-version/
