On 22 and 23 October 2019, the 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas, organised by the Pyrenean Observatory on Climate Change (OPCC) and the Aragon Region, current Presidency of the Pyrenees Working Community (CTP), will be held at the Jaca Congress Centre (Huesca).
The aim of this colloquium is to present and transfer the results of the OPCC2 project and its associated projects CLIMPY, REPLIM, CANOPEE, FLORAPYR and PIRAGUA.
For more information, consult the web page of the colloquium: https://www.opcc-ctp.org/en/contenido/3rd-international-colloquium-climate-change-mountain-areas
During the colloquium, a session will be dedicated to the valorisation of good adaptation practices in the Pyrenees and a more institutional session will count on the interventions of organisations such as the Alpine Convention, DG CLIMA and with representatives of the main research networks in mountain areas at European level.
The conclusions of the Colloquium will be published on the OPCC website and will include the report on the results of the OPCC2 project, a summary document on the presentations of the conferences, as well as a dossier on the valorization of the best practices of adaptation in the Pyrenees presented during the colloquium.
Registration will be free of charge but compulsory and we will soon make available an online form to formalize registrations.
