Systems
These five systems structure the EPiCC Strategy and the PYRENEES4CLIMA project, ensuring comprehensive climate action that coherently addresses the environmental, social, economic, and institutional challenges of climate change in the Pyrenees.

Climate
Monitoring climate change in the Pyrenees, analysing long-term trends and scenarios, and generating indicators.

Resilient natural areas
Monitoring of sensitive ecosystems —cryosphere, biodiversity and water— using innovative tools, generation of indicators and proposal of adaptive actions.

Adapted mountain economy
Analysis and support for sectors such as tourism, agriculture, pastoralism and forestry, promoting innovation and adaptation actions with a local focus.

Population et territoire
Assessment and anticipation of impacts on environmental health, ecosystem services, and natural and climate risks; support for awareness-raising and social participation through citizen science.

Governance
Strengthening cross-border climate governance through key information and tools for adaptation, promoting connection with the local level and coordination with regional, national and European levels.
TOOLS
EPiCC
The origin of the five systems from a comprehensive climate change adaptation strategy.
