It is crucial for the OPCC to make the data it has collected on the impacts of climate change in the Pyrenees available to the general public. It raises awareness of future ecological and socio-economic issues in the cross-border region and promotes the implementation of various actions by sectorial and political actors to face these new challenges.
With this Storymap, the OPCC presents the results of its research, the initiative itself, its partners and the various citizen science tools developed as part of the OPCC2 project in a new format that is simple, easy to use and highlights key information.
This format also allows interactive access to graphs and other data generated by the OPCC2 and partner projects, on themes such as climate projections, the vulnerability of forests to climate change or the localization of observation points part of a network of lakes and peatland monitoring.
