32 NEW GOOD PRACTICES FOR CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION THAT YOU CAN'T MISS!

  • 02 Dec

Theory is all very well, but putting it into practice is not always so easy. The OPCC's portal of good practices in adaptation to climate change aims to be a window on successful, innovative and replicable experiences in all the regions of the Pyrenees mountain range.

Nasuvinsa-Lursarea, with the collaboration of the Interreg POCTEFA OPCC-ADAPYR project partnership, has been responsible for collecting 45 new climate change adaptation initiatives. In this second phase of improvement, greater emphasis has been placed on concrete actions already implemented and with tangible, measurable and quantifiable results. All of them were assessed by a committee of climate change experts made up of representatives from the 7 territories of the Pyrenean massif. In this portal of good practices, which already had 30 initiatives, a further 32 have been added, the best rated by the committee of experts!

This extension incorporates new thematic areas such as energy, health, local climate governance and spatial planning. An effort has also been made to improve the territorial representation of the selected initiatives.

With these successful experiences of adaptation to climate change we want to inspire the implementation of new transformative actions that help to move from the theoretical to the practical in other parts of the Pyrenean territory.

Come in, discover them and get inspired!
