OPCC´s 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas

On 22 and 23 October 2019, the 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas, organised by the Pyrenean Observatory on Climate Change (OPCC) and the Aragon Region, current Presidency of the Pyrenees Working Community (CTP), will be held at the Jaca Congress Centre (Huesca).

The aim of this colloquium is to present and transfer the results of the OPCC2 project and its associated projects CLIMPY, REPLIM, CANOPEE, FLORAPYR and PIRAGUA.

 During the colloquium, a session will be dedicated to the valorisation of good adaptation practices in the Pyrenees and a more institutional session will count on the interventions of organisations such as the Alpine Convention, DG CLIMA and with representatives of the main research networks in mountain areas at European level.

The conclusions of the Colloquium will be published on the OPCC website and will include the report on the results of the OPCC2 project, a summary document on the presentations of the conferences, as well as a dossier on the valorization of the best practices of adaptation in the Pyrenees presented during the colloquium.

The 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas is organised within the framework of the OPCC2 project.

The OPCC2, CLIMPY, REPLIM, PIRAGUA, CANOPEE and FLORAPYR projects are 65% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through Interreg V-A Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA 2014-2020).

The 3rd International Colloquium on Climate Change in Mountain Areas is organized within the framework of the OPCC2 project and with the partnership of the Mobile Film Festival in the context of its 2019 competition on the theme of climate change.
