Theory is all very well, but putting it into practice is not always so easy. The OPCC's portal of good practices in adaptation to climate change aims to be a window on successful, innovative and replicable experiences in all the regions of the Pyrenees mountain range.
The OPCC continues working to make the Pyrenean Climate Change Strategy - EPiCC ( Estrategia Pirenaica del Cambio Climático) - a reality applied in the territory.
Under the theme "Uniting the world to tackle climate change", the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) - held in Glasgow (UK) from 31 October to 12 November 2021 - brought together representatives of some 200 states, including the rejoining of the USA, with the aim of accelerating climate action to comply with the Paris Agreement.
After the participatory process that has involved several workshops, the return workshop was held on October 6, 2021, the last stage of this phase of workshops for the drafting of the Pyrenean Climate Change Strategy (EPiCC).

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its latest report, entitled "Climate Change 2021: the Physical Science Basis", on 9 August. This report is the contribution of Working Group I to the IPCC's Sixth Assessment Report and comes after a lengthy remote approval session in which chapter coordinators underwent a final review of the document prior to publication.
