Nothing like starting an unusually warm month of June with an OPCC newsletter full of fresh news!

On 19 and 20 May, the OPCC ADAPYR project came to an end after two and a half years of intense but interesting work in cross-border cooperation. More than 200 people participated in the final event, which took place at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, but you couldn't attend? We have a solution… Don't miss the documentary "The ice pace'', the "best of" video, and download the final report of the project.

We would like to share with you the video about the PHUSICOS pilot case in Erill la Vall. You will be able to see how the inhabitants of this town face erosion problems with original and natural measures.

Looking for more events before you go on holiday? The MONTCLIMA project is also organizing its 4th transnational seminar on natural and climatic hazards in the SUDOE mountains in Bilbao on 5 July. This time, we will talk about strategies to deal with  soil degradation and its potential to mitigate climate change. You can participate online or in person, there is no excuse anymore!

We also want to share the preparation process of the integrated LIFE project application that took place in Jaca. More than 50 experts from both sides of the border met to define the priority actions of the EPiCC Operational Plan. The working day helped to structure the ambitious LIFE SIP Pyrenees project, an epic challenge!

Although this year spring seems to have lasted less than usual, the OPCC arrived just in time to organize the PHUSICOS spring school. More than 20 people participated during 4 days in April in training workshops and visits on nature-based measures as a strategy to reduce natural hazards in mountain areas.

Good reading and stay safe from the high temperatures!
